Music & Epilepsy.
Scientists at Ohio State University have found that listening to classical and jazz music can help those suffering from epilepsy. ... The brainwave activity of epilepsy patients showed greater synchronisation with the musical element in the temporal lobe, compared to those without the condition.epilepsy appear to react to music differently from the brains of those who do not have the disorder, a finding that could lead to new therapies to prevent seizures, While researchers do not believe music can replace current epilepsy treatment, it is possible that music can be used in conjunction with traditional therapy to help prevent seizures. Stress can trigger seizures and many of the patients with epilepsy reported feeling relaxed after listening to the music.

It seems to be when the child hits 18 years of age all the complexities and medical lifelong issues miraculously disappear. The continuity from Paediatric Services needs to continue into Adult Services. It's a battle no doubt about that. We continue, I continue to fight this system for the best possible quality of life for my Son.
